Juan Francés, Partner
Juan Francés has more than 10 years of experience in providing strategic communication counsel to clients since he joined Estudio de Comunicación in 2006. As partner of Estudio de Comunicación, Juan has advised a broad range of companies operating in very different sectors, ranging from the financial, aeronautical, or automotive sectors to real estate, security, and technology sectors, among others. Juan has developed specialised expertise in financial communication (IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, takeover bids) and crises management (collective dismissals, environmental disasters).
Prior to this, Juan worked as a reporter, editor and photographer for leading Spanish national newspaper El País for over 12 years across a number of different beats (primarily the local, business and society beats). During his tenure, Juan helped launch two pioneering projects: El País edition in English and The New York Times’ weekly news supplement, The International Herald Tribune. Before joining El País, Juan also worked for and collaborated with other media outlets such as local newspaper Diario de Cádiz, financial newspaper El Boletín, BBC World Service and Rolling Stone magazine, among others.
Juan obtained his bachelor degree in Journalism from Saint Louis University.
